I am a wife to the incredible Uncle Rico and a proud mom to 3 daughters that are a beautiful blessing to me in so many ways - Mere-Bear, Ali-Bug and Ju-Bean. In 2010 our life was additionally blessed when Mere married the amazing JP! On August 3, 2011 and October 3, 2013 we expanded our knowledge of LOVE with the arrival of our scrumptious grandsons - Caiden & Carson!! Their presence in our lives has changed us so much that even our names are not the same. From now on Rico and I will be called ~ PINKY and POPS!!
I have been on a journey learning that this life is not about me...but about Him, The Lord Jesus Christ. It is because of my discoveries and growth in the knowledge of His Love & Kindness that I can't help but testify and help others along their journey's.
I am aSurvivor!
On May 15, 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
It was the most wicked and most amazing journey of my entire life! The power of community with Christ and others was unbelievable!
In March 2011 I celebrated the news of being healed and cancer free! I gratefully continue to celebrate 4 years in remission this May 2014!! You can read more about my PINK Hope Journey at www.caringbridge.org/visit/veronicahutcherson
The goal of my blog is: To magnify what the Lord has done and is doing in my life. To inspire and encourage others with His Love that has provided my life with so much Hope & Healing! To advocate for the causes and concerns of Cancer, Sex Trafficking and Disaster Relief. To mentor and run alongside the next generation of women & moms without messing them up too much! ;)
I'm not perfect so please share Grace often when dealing with me. Thanks!
So honored you stopped by and look forward to all that will go on in this place!!
Romans 15:13 ~ May the God of Hope fill you with all Joy and Peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with Hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 4:20-22 ~ Listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight. Keep them within your heart, for they are life to those who find them and health to your whole body.
Psalm 119:32 ~ I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free!
Isaiah 43:1 ~ Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
Isaiah 61:10 ~ I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
People are beginning to wear the "Blue Band" bracelets in addition to the "Yellow" bracelets. The Blue Bands have Caty's name on one side and on the other side it has the scripture verse - Isaiah 41:10 that was shared and prayed over Caty by her friend Alex (Ali Bug).
These bands were the idea of Kathy K, her daughter Robin and not sure who all else was involved but I will find out and give a Shout Out and proper Thank You to all these awesome supporters and prayer warriors!! Kathy asked Caty some facts about her self and this is how the color and scripture were selected.
Caty's favorite color ~ Blue Her selected scripture for this time in her life ~ Isaiah 41:10
Today's Scripture Verse is By Alex (my daughter and Caty's Friend) ~ Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Here are Caty and Alex during a recent performance at Caty's Pep Camp. So adorable!
Healing Scriptures ~ Matthew 11:28
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust."
Today I would like to add to our prayer coverage that we pray for rest to be in Caty's home.
They have had a long week with last weeks 2nd round of Chemo and as you can imagine their bodies physically need some rest.
The scripture reading in Psalm 91 refers to God as one who is a dwelling place, refuge and strong tower. In Hebrew the names are Maon, Machseh, and Migdal-Oz. These names are often found in clusters and speak of the One who has promised to watch over and keep us safe. In that safe place He is able to provide you with rest, protection and peace.
We give thanks for Gods protective care for Caty and her family! The Lord is their calm and provides so much for them on a daily basis. I have no doubt He will watch over them and give them peace on their pillows and great slumber!
