Mug N Muffin - WOW!

Hi you all!
A special Greeting to all who are visiting today after attending the Mug N Muffin event this morning at CBC.

The theme today was This Is My Story, This Is My Song...A Time of Testimonies and Praise!
I had 3 wonderful ladies share about certain testimonies that have taken place in their lives recently. My heart is full of amazement and gratitude with how the Lord delivered the message of Hope through their obedience and participation. To watch it all come together after months of preparation and prayer is beyond what my lingo can portray.

All I got for you is - WOW!

Right now I have to go get ready for another event I have been praying and working on for months. The day is finally here for the THIRD DAY ~ JARS OF CLAY ~ SWITCHFOOT AND ROBERT RANDOLPH BAND In Concert!!!

Anyways, I am typing so fast....and really have to go change so I can go help Donna with things before the concert. I hope you will come back for more Mug N Muffin details, pictures and of course Third Day Concert pictures and stories!

Shining For The Lord ~ Prayer Journal for Caty M

Yesterday Caty was scheduled to have her 4th Chemo treatment. This got re-scheduled for Saturday because she has ear and sinus infections and was put on antibiotics. She was released to go to school today but will be back in the hospital Saturday morning through Wednesday.

The story of Caty's journey is spreading and her courage is touching many lives. Recently she had the opportunity share her story through a video testimony during a Youthquake Wednesday night service. You can see that video by going here.

This past Sunday she was also in the newspaper showing off her beautiful 13 year old portrait. That picture was part of an article about photographer Laura Nikas's recent project titled - Embrace Your Age. If you missed the article you can see it here. Laura is amazing!

Next week I have invited Caty to be one of my guest at our Ladies Mug N Muffin Fellowship Event called - This Is My Story, This is My Song. There will be two other ladies sharing their testimonies of hope and courage. If you want more information about that you can go here.

As you can see she is staying busy and God has already been working through her young testimony. Lets take this weeks scripture and thank the Lord for giving her the strength and opportunity to shine for Him! We will also pray a guarding over her health and her family.

PRAYER JOURNAL

GIVE THANKS ~ PSALM 145: 1-7
I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Everyday I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.
One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.
They will speak of the glorious splendor of Your Majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They will tell of the power of your awesome works and I will proclaim your great deeds.
They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

HEALING SCRIPTURE ~ PSALM 77:13
Your ways, O God, are holy.
What god is so great as our God?
You are the God who performs miracles; You display Your power among the peoples.

PRAYER ~
Lord, You are the God who performs miracles! We continue to pray for complete healing to take place in Caty's body.
Thank you for all the open doors that you have given Caty to share about your power and love.
In the days ahead we ask that you give her strength to tackle this next round of chemo and wisdom for the doctors as they take care of her. We pause Lord and give you personal thanks for our own blessings...May we increase with greater love for others. AMEN!

Your prayers and encouragement are making a difference in her life and efforts.

After All These Years ~ Happy Anniversary Baby!

On a hot September 7th day in 1985...I married my sweetheart, the incredible father of our precious girls.

It has been 23 years of amazing trials and triumphs!

After all these years this is what I still get on a daily basis...

1. A patient man...most of the time...especially when dealing with me!

2. He prays throughout each day for his family...and others.

3. He makes sure the kids are up in the morning.

4. Serves them breakfast.

5. Makes their lunch.

6. Takes them to school.

7. Prays over them before sending them off.

8. He insists I stay in bed while he does all this.

9. He works hard for his girls...and our spending habits, dreams and callings!

10. He Compliments me everday...even when I make "hamburger surprise" for dinner!

11. He kisses me before he goes to work everyday and speaks a blessing over me...even if I am still sleeping!

12. He likes to do the grocery shopping.

13. He notices when I clean.

14. He is very funny.

15. He is very smart...he never stops learning.

16. He is constant in encouraging me with my calling and gifts.

17. He is an incredible business Media Man!

18. He makes sacrifices and puts others before himself.

19. He keeps the checkbook...balanced!

20. He prays with and hugs & kisses the older girls before heading off to bed.

21. He prays with, kisses and tucks Julia into bed every night.

22. He listens to me...when I am ready for late night conversations and patient while I go through my night time ritual of face cleansing and moisturizers!

23. Most of all he worships Jesus in all he does...and then at the end of the day...he makes sure the doors are locked, prays with me, kisses me goodnight and rolls over to get rest to do this all over again!

He may snore but I can handle that!

There really is so much more...but I just went through an average day with this great guy that I am blessed with!!

Today I celebrate our journey together and want to dedicate this song to my honey!
